Research on Hybrid Control Architecture and Related Functions of Satellite Network

The centralized satellite network control architecture can no longer meet the huge communication needs of people, thus a hybrid control architecture that incorporates logical centralized and distributed control is considered to be suitable for the future satellite network control architecture. However, there are no detailed studies on hybrid control architectures for satellite networks. In this paper, we propose a novel hybrid control architecture targeting at a single layer satellite network composed of LEO satellites and ground segments. We will discuss the design and implementation of the control architecture in detail and describe the implementation of the related functions based on the hybrid control architecture. Finally, the simulation results verify that the proposed architecture can improve update efficiency.
