Assessment and Analysis of Global DOP and Positioning Performance for BDS-3 based on iGMAS and IGS

With the increasing requirements of users for Beidou service performance, high-quality services worldwide have become an important factor leading the world. Therefore, it is significance to evaluate BDS-3 global service performance. The DOP value represents the quality of the geometric distribution of users and visible satellites in space, which reflects the quality of navigation service accuracy. Based on iGMAS and IGS global site data, this paper evaluates and analyzes the PDOP value, PDOP availability and positioning accuracy of BDS-3 in the global region. The experimental results show that the maximum value of PDOP in the global area of BDS-3 is 2.99, the minimum value is 0.85, and the average value is 1.43. The availability of DOP reaches 100%. The positioning accuracy of B1I and B3I is better than 9m and 12m respectively, the horizontal positioning accuracy is 3. 6m and 5.4m respectively, and the average vertical positioning accuracy is 4.9m and 6. 8m respectively. It has good service performance worldwide.
