The effect of temperature on the magnetic properties of Fe/SiO2/ferrite soft magnetic composites

Soft magnetic composites Fe/SiO
2
/ferrite with low energy losses and high magnetic permeability are studied. The magnetic properties in composites with (a) 0 vol%, (b) 2 vol%, (c) 5 vol%, and (d) 10 vol% of ferrite at peak induction of 0.1 T are investigated in the temperature range of 20–140 °C. Further, loss separation as a function of ferrite content and temperature was studied. An increase in temperature in working conditions affects the magnetic properties of the SMCs, which requires consideration of the temperature effect in the process of predicting magnetic properties. The content of ferrite plays a significant role in modulating the magnetic properties of Fe/SiO
2
/ferrite soft magnetic composites.
