Adaptive ISI Mitigation for Mobile Molecular Communications

One of the intriguing paradigms for nanocommunication networks of bio-nanothings is the molecular communication system, in which randomly diffused bio-molecules convey information from transmitter to receiver. However, in a slow moving bio-molecule based mobile molecular communication system, received signal distortion due to inter-symbol interference (ISI) is a major problem. In this work, we proposed an ISI mitigation method for diffusion based mobile molecular communication. The method uses variable weight coefficient for different interfering signal. We have investigated the proposed strategy and evaluated the effects of system characteristics like diffusion coefficient and the distance between the transmitter and receiver nanomachines. The influence of ISI is greatly diminished.
