A File Verification Scheme Based on Verkle Trees

Recently, information security has become an important issue. People receive more and more information and often download lots of data and files through the Internet, but there is no way to verify the correctness of the data source. In this paper, we introduce a file verification mechanism based on Verkle trees without the intervention of third-party institutions. Furthermore, it will restore the tampered files through the blockchain network and Inter-Planetary File System (IPFS). In addition to designing the file verification mechanism, we will discuss the overall efficiency and compare the differences between the Verkle tree and Merkle tree architectures.
