Intention to Use Shared Electric Scooters in Outlying Islands

Air pollution has always been an important issue of concern, especially emissions from transportation. Because the main primary sources of pollutant emissions are PM2.5, NOx and CO, most of them come from "vehicles". According to statistics, the total number of registered motor vehicles in Taiwan is as high as 22.844 million, which means that each citizen owns one motorcycle on average [1]. Therefore, encouraging the use of electric vehicles, or even sharing them, may help to improve the pollution and congestion caused by urban traffic.
