Smart Irrigation System Using LoRaWAN

Sensors and smart devices make Internet of Things a hot issue nowadays. This paper will analyze how to reduce resource usage and boost agricultural farm production. Agriculture is the foundation of many countries, hence study in this field was considered. Farming information helps farmers plan harvesting, irrigation, and fertilization. Using new technology like the Internet of Things to farming processes can increase yield and cost efficiency. IoT will boost agricultural and manufacturing production by automating tasks. This study used IoT to create an ideal intelligent watering system that allows decision-making, remote monitoring, wireless operation, and voice control to address issues related to an elderly population and rural labor shortages.
