The Use of Artificial Inteligence in Education: Opportunities, Limitations, Risks

The purpose of this study is to try to answer the questions, firstly, how artificial intelligence can help participants in educational relations in the current era of online educational reality, and secondly, what ethical values and principles of action should accompany the use of artificial intelligence technologies in education. The paper captures the key features of the use of artificial intelligence technologies from the point of view of each of the participants in educational relations. Attention is focused on the possible risks associated with the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in education, including cognitive bias, the digital divide, the problem of authorship and fakes, as well as transparency. In addition, the authors highlight the main ethical values and principles of artificial intelligence technologies: respect, protection and promotion of human rights and fundamental freedoms and human dignity, ensuring diversity and choice, living in fair communities, security, sustainability, the right to privacy, as well as accountability, transparency and accountability.
