The Use of Information Technologies in the Process of Implementing Inclusive Educational Practice

Inclusive practice is present in almost all modern educational organizations. The use of information technology helps to create conditions for its successful implementation. The purpose of this article is to analyze the theoretical and practical experience of applying information technologies in the process of implementing inclusive practice. The use of information technology in inclusive education includes issues related to the range of potential learning needs of students with disabilities. Their application is possible for: determining the preliminary level of personal development (skills and abilities); assisting in personal development, forming new skills or updating existing ones; improving access to information; overcoming geographical or social exclusion through digital communications; increase motivation. Examples of the development and use of information and software resources in the inclusive educational space are given: the communicative system “Dialogue”, Krust 42Slim information terminal; the “Inclusion” career guidance programme; the “Speak Aloud” interactive auditory workshop; the typhlo-audio laboratory; the “Range 2.0” inclusive exhibition, etc. We have concluded that information technology in pedagogical practice increases the possibilities of inclusive education. As information resources allow us to create new favorable conditions for students with disabilities.
