Methods of Air Dust Microparticles Measuring and Recognizing for Social and Hygienic Monitoring

This article observed modern methods of optical analysis and recognition of dust microparticles in the atmosphere air in order for social and hygienic monitoring and risk recognition for public health that is the task of paramount importance these days. To obtain a rough estimate of the concentration of different particles in the atmospheric air people use PM particle concentration measurement sensors. For an accurate assessment of the distribution of particles by types of substances scientists use optical recognition methods based on neural networks that classify particles PM2.5 and PM10 on microphotographs. Using such measurement methods improves the quality of particles recognition for air quality monitoring system and the portable device which implements this scheme. This article also contains information about the pros and cons of the selected neural network and a way to minimize the error of working with microphotographs by using the focus stacking -a method used in photography to increase the image sharpness.
