Composite Polymer Material Based on Hexaferrite with Selective Absorption in the EHF Range for 3D-Printing Technology

The results of a research of the electrophysical properties of composite polymers based on acrylonitrile styrene acrylate with BaFe
12
O
19
ferrite filler are presented. The results of X-ray phase analysis of the used hexaferrite powders are presented. The porosity of the manufactured samples of the composite magnetic filament was researched depending on the number of hot extrusion cycles. It is shown that after 9 extrusion cycles the porosity decreases to several percent. In the extremely high frequency range, electromagnetic characteristics and electromagnetic response from images obtained using additive technology were measured. The porosity of the filament has practically no effect on the measured values of the permittivity. For composite polymers with a high content of ferrite, there is a sharp decrease in the transmission coefficient in the frequency range from 42 to 55 GHz with peak at 47.6 GHz, which is due tothe natural ferromagnetic resonance of the BaFe
12
O
19
ferrite.
