Abstract:

This article describes the development process of a measuring system of digital combined current and voltage sensors for a recloser with double-sided measurement. The article contains information about the principles of digital combined current and voltage sensors and their comparison with traditional analog current and voltage transformers for use in reclosers with double-sided measurement. The structure of recloser elements interaction is shown in detail, including data transmission between combined current and voltage sensors, connecting devices, relay protection unit and channel-forming equipment for communication with SCADA-systems. The article consists of five parts. The first part presents the problematics of the request for digital devices for power engineering and describes the principle of recloser operation. The second part describes the structural diagram of the combined current and voltage sensor, including its power supply, measurement circuit and communication interfaces. The third part shows examples of using a recloser with double-sided measurement. The fourth part shows the process of designing a measurement system of digital combined current and voltage sensors for a recloser with double-sided measurement. The last part of the paper briefly presents the results of the work.

I. Introduction

Nowadays, the digitalization of the energy industry is taking on an unprecedented scale. With the help of modern information technology, the efficiency of power generation, transportation and distribution is increasing. Digital platforms make it possible to monitor power system performance in real time, analyze customer needs, and optimize costs. This transition to digital technologies opens up new horizons for improving grid efficiency, stability and reliability. Moreover, digital energy innovations provide consumers with more opportunities to participate in optimizing energy consumption and reducing energy costs in their daily lives. Thus, the implementation of digital technologies in the energy sector helps to overcome many of the industry's existing problems, opening the way to a more sustainable future.
