Study of the Electrodynamic Mode in the Electrode System of the Hardware Setup for Implementing the Technique of Measuring the Polarizability of Bioparticles

The paper presents the results of three-dimensional full-wave electrodynamic modeling of the electric field in the gap of a measuring cell. The results obtained regarding the electric field strength vector indicate the potential possibility of increasing the accuracy of the method for measuring the polarizability of bioparticles by taking into account the orthogonal components of the strength vector. The mentioned results in regard of the electric field properties can find application when investigating the more complex measuring equipment, like one with different electrode shapes. In addition, the results obtained through the full-wave electrodynamic simulation, indicate the potential of using them when investigating more precisely the properties of different kind of cells, like blood or fat. It is also shown, that the electric field in the gap of the measuring cell differ from the one, mentioned in literature in a way of having the transversal component, causing the error when calculating the polarizability of particles. The last makes possible to take into account the orthogonal polarization value inside a cell under consideration.
