Fast Fourier Transformation Algorithm

Maintenance and repair of pump units is costly and time-consuming. At present, mainly scheduled periodic maintenance is used. But during the period between repairs, no one knows the real technical condition of the units. This problem can be solved in many ways: oscillographic, method of phase compensation, method of time interval to voltage conversion, digital method of pulse counting, method of phase measurement with frequency conversion, quadrature method of phase shift measurement, synchronous detection, method of Fourier transform (PF) with subsequent extraction of phase component from harmonic composition, using Bodde diagrams. However, all of these methods, except PF, cause problems when optimizing and structuring data, and also require a specialist to decrypt data and laborious preparation for the start of data collection. The article considers an algorithm written in CoDeSys environment that allows a programmable logic controller to control and monitor the frequency spectrum of pump drive vibration in real time, which will reduce the time to restore the unit operation by reducing the time to find the failure location.
