The Phenomenon of Clip Thinking and Its Role in Electronic Educational Environment

On the basis of existing literature data, the paper considers the process of formation of the modern understanding of the phenomenon of clip thinking. Based on the experience of researchers of this phenomenon, various interpretations of clip thinking are presented, as well as the given studies are devoted to the positive and negative features of this type of thinking. The influence of clip thinking on the work of modern Internet mass media is considered. The potential risks associated with the spread of clip thinking are indicated. The process of taking into account the factor of clip thinking expressed in the mosaic of consciousness and the possibility of multitasking in the modern educational environment was considered. The prospects for adapting the educational process under the dominance of clip thinking are outlined. The conclusion indicates the current progress in the knowledge of clip thinking and the problems faced by researchers of this phenomenon.
