An Adaptive RFIC Layout Generator with DRC Violations Self-repair Strategy

This paper presents an adaptive layout generator for RFIC, by disassembling the prototype layout geometries into lines and blocks, specifying the corresponding variables on top of them, and finally mapping them to the modification of the proto-type layout. In addition, the DRC violations self-repair strategy including spacing adaptive repair and automatic jumper generation is integrated into this layout generator, resulting in a much higher DRC pass rate. Compared to the conventional Pcell technique, the modelling process of the proposed method is less time-consuming, and it supports work migration across technology nodes,making it more flexible and convenient for design.
