A Dual Circularly-Polarized Patch Array Antenna for Full-Duplex Communications

This work presents a solution of the dual circularly-polarized (CP) antenna with wideband inter-port isolation for full-duplex communications. It is constructed on a
$2\times 2$
patch array, and by meticulously organizing its feeding ports and network, the inter-port coupling signals may be simplified. The residual interport coupling is then eliminated using a decoupling network. Simulation results show that the presented dual-CP antenna has an inter-port isolation higher than 40 dB at the band of 5.25~5.95 GHz and peak gains of 10.2 dB for both ports.
