The Evolution of Digital Health Care: From Stethoscopes to Smart Phones

Internet of Things (IoT) is nowadays becoming an increasingly important term as it provides the solutions to many applications. The concept of the “internet of things” combines computer hardware, software, and computing devices to allow for data collection, exchange, and communication. Getting a proper solution or making a proper decision has made the IoT one of the interesting topics. IoT made the people lives easier by performing the tasks in the smarter way. IoT has many applications which include improved efficiency, enhanced safety and security, better customer experience, new business models, increased productivity, data-driven decision making, etc. IoT has some unique features which makes it a useful technologyin the health sector. In order to investigate the IoT's foundation in the healthcare system, this study focuses on how IoT technologies may be used in the rapidly developing field of customized health. It covers the cutting-edge and IoT-derived methods as well as well-known health cases. This study also focuses on the technological, ethical, and budgetary limitations in creating a better medical system that can identify and diagnose diseases early on. The research work addresses the function and various uses of IoT technology in health care, and then demonstrates some chosen medical scenarios illustrating an IoT-driven healthcare system, followed by the potential problems of deploying it in the health sector.
