RFID Based Real-Time Battery Monitoring System for Electric Vehicle Charging

As the number of Electric Vehicles (EVs) on the road rises, charging stations in parking garages and local service centres will increase. The customer, EV distributors, and store operators will all need to be satisfied by these stations. With the growing importance of EVs, this advanced charging system is acquiring a significant role in meeting the needs of the local distribution centre and of the EV users. EVs give an eco-friendly environment in the advanced smart city. However, there are numerous obstacles, such as path planning, smart charging, and information distribution, for the use of EVs in the smart city. Therefore, advanced methods and outputs are required to enhance the effectiveness of the current EV charging system. Considering these, this research proposes an innovative method for wireless charging battery operated vehicles using RFID tags and shortest path planning to achieve the lowest possible charging cost. The novelty of this smart charging system that monitors and controls charges, is the RFID technique that allows for user identification and charging authorization. In this system, the charging level can be screened utilizing IoT module. This research proposes the use of a Peltier and C fan cooler for maintaining the temperature range of the battery system. This method can solve the problem of Battery Thermal Management System in space applications where fan-based cooling systems can't be used. This system that uses RF encoder and decoder to calculate the distance, identifies the nearest EV charging station. The system consists of three push buttons that, when pressed, display a message indicating the distance to the charging station.
