Mppt based Model Predictive Controlled Interleaved Boost Converter

In this research work, a DC-DC interleaved Boost converter for utility-scale photovoltaic systems is proposed. Solar photovoltaic cells are very popular for producing renewable energy and generate electricity directly. The outputs of solar panels, however, can have a variety of lower DC voltages. Utilizing DC-DC converters that can interleaved increase the output voltage and do so consistently while accounting for variations in solar panel outputs is therefore necessary. The availability of sunlight, the surrounding temperature, and shadows are just a few of the variables that can cause variations. Here, the proposed converter topology is used to convert boost converter into interleaved converter. This configuration's interleaved boost converters with and without MPPT implementation is its key feature. FOPID and Model Predictive Controlled (MPC) closed-loop ILBC control are compared for settling time and steady state error. According to the simulation results, MP-controlled ILBC has a better time domain response than FOPID-controlled ILBC.
