Internet of Things Based Smart Metal Detector for Washing Machine

This research study proposes a novel approach for smart washing machines with metal detection and Wi-Fi. This integrates a metal detector inside the drum of the washing machine. It detects any metal objects which are left inside clothes like coins, keys, etc. The metal detection system uses Wi-Fi signals to fall onto the objects and thus it detects metallic items and prevents the washing machine from damage, and gives a safe experience while washing. This Wi-Fi technology system is helpful in tracking out the unnecessary items such as glass, metals, and other things through which Wi-Fi signals cannot easily pass through. The usage of Wi-Fi signals to transmit the signals of detection as a harmless method to get rid of undesirable objects, which may cause harm to human health.
