Vibration Characteristics Analysis of Transformer Core Faults Based on Multy-Physical Field Coupling

In order to study the vibration characteristics of transformer core fault on the environment of the offshore atmosphere, a three-dimensional transient model is established by taking SC9-100/10 dry-type transformer as the object and using COMSOL. Conduct electric-magnetic-solid multi-physical field coupling. The influence of core loosening and multi-point grounding on the vibration of transformer core is explored. The results show that: 1) The vibration intensity of the transformer is negatively correlated with the compaction of the iron core. Vibration signal fundamental frequency amplitude increases The amplitude of the fundamental frequency of the vibration signal, that is, the frequency component of 100 Hz increases, and the content of higher harmonics (greater than 100 Hz) increases. 2) When a multi-point ground fault occurs, The acceleration amplitude of transformer core decreases. The simulation of transformer core faults by COMSOL is reasonable and accurate. The vibration characteristics of transformer core are related to its state. Different types of transformer core faults can be differentiated by analyzing vibration characteristics. The calculation methods used in the process of transformer core vibration characteristics and the relevant conclusions obtained from simulation have further guiding significance for predicting transformer core vibration and improving transformer core structure design.
