Design and Implementation of Performance Test Platform for Proportional Solenoid Valve of Ventilator

Currently, ventilators are widely used in intensive care units, anesthesia, emergency care, and home care to provide mechanical ventilation to patients who cannot breathe spontaneously or have insufficient spontaneous ventilation. The proportional solenoid valve (PSOL) in the ventilator system is an important component, and its accuracy and reliability are closely related to patient safety. Therefore, designing and implementing a performance test platform for the PSOL of the ventilator has significant practical significance and application value. This platform achieves real-time and accurate calculation of static indicators and time-domain and waveform feature extraction of the PSOL through precise control and sensor data acquisition. It correctly reflects the operational status and performance changes of the PSOL. The platform developed in this paper can be used to test both normal and faulty valves, and the results demonstrate the effectiveness and reliability of the test platform. The data collected from the testing platform can be used to improve the safety and reliability of ventilators.
