An intelligent information retrieval system model

On the basis of analyzing the problems of a traditional search engine, the article suggests a model based on a three layers C/S framework for a personal intelligent information retrieval system. In addition the article presents the framework and characteristic of this system model and discusses the partitioning of the system function module. According to the model, the off-line browsing and full-text in the local database as well as the intelligent search and personal information retrieval on the Internet should be able to realized.
