Stochastic Real-time Model of Power Electronic System based on Generalized Polynomial Chaos

To solve the problem that the time-domain simulation based on deterministic model cannot describe the statistical characteristics of stochastic parameters in the actual power electronic system, this paper proposes a stochastic modeling method based on generalized polynomial chaos (gPC). Based on this model, the statistical moment information of the system output response can be solved accurately, and the probabilistic operation region of the system can be drawn. Furthermore, this paper realizes the real-time simulation of the stochastic model based on FPGA, and the FPGA resources are optimized by time-multiplexing of multiplier. Simulation and hardware-in-the-loop experiment results show that the proposed stochastic real-time modeling method can accurately and efficiently reflect the real operation of the system.
