10 kVac/270 Vdc Medium-Voltage-Connecting Power Supply for Data Centers

With the rapid development of high voltage power semiconductor devices, medium-voltage-connecting (MVC) power supply with high frequency isolation is expected to demonstrate its advantage in efficiency and power density. In this paper, state-of-the-art MVC power supply for data centers is briefly reviewed. Power conversion structures of 10 kVac/270 Vdc MVC power supply are investigated in terms of efficiency, circuit complexity, and volume.
