Design And Implementation Of Terminal Redirection For Multi-Forth Processors On Chip

Multi-Forth processor on chip is an important idea to solve the practical requirements of processor computing performance and power consumption in current multi-processor system applications. Efficient use of UART serial port resources on chip is the key to improve port reusability, enhance system flexibility and reduce resource occupancy. Based on the inherent characteristics of Forth system and the research of stack processor and the design of on-chip multiprocessor architecture, this paper proposes a method of terminal redirection of on-chip multi-Forth processor by means of terminal interactive input redirection Forth definition, multiplexer and arbiter module, which adopts Forth system and multi-Forth processor architecture technology. Experiments on Xilinx xc6slx9 FPGA show that this method can achieve and meet the requirements of efficient use of on-chip terminal resources by multi-Forth processors.
