An Improved High Dynamic DS/FH Signal Acquisition Method Based on DBZP

To realize fast acquisition of weak hybrid direct-sequence/frequency-hopping (DS/FH) signal in high dynamic scenarios, this paper proposes a DS/FH signal acquisition algorithm based on the double-block zero-padding (DBZP) processing. The proposed algorithm first divides the Doppler search interval into multiple segments, and then utilizes envelope shifting to correct code phase drift (CPD) in the partial correlation and coherent integration results based on the center frequency of each Doppler segment. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm effectively reduces long-time integration loss for weak DS/FH signals induced by the CPD and significantly improves acquisition performance.
