Constrained Predictive Control in Three-phase PWM Rectifier Research

The traditional PI control strategy has the disadvantages of high harmonic content and poor dynamic performance in three-phase PWM rectifier. To overcome the impact of the above defects, a three-phase PWM rectifier based on constrained predictive control is proposed in this paper. The robustness of the state observer is improved by using the high precision characteristic of Kalman filter state estimation and incorporating the adaptive process. A predictive controller was designed with recursive neural network optimization algorithm, then the optimal duty ratio was converted into a quadratic programming problem to complete the optimal control output of duty ratio. The simulation results show that the three phase input current THD is low and the dynamic response is fast.
