An optimized Clustering Routing Algorithm Based on Entropy Empowerment and A* Search

The life cycle of wireless sensor networks is directly related to the energy consumption of nodes. To balance the energy consumption of nodes, an optimized clustering routing algorithm based on entropy empowerment and A* search (ORAEA)is proposed. Through entropy weighting, the expected life of nodes, the density of neighbor nodes and the distance from the base station are objectively weighted, and high-quality cluster heads that adapt to the dynamic changes of the network are obtained, and the network is non-uniformly clustered; based on the energy consumption of the nodes and the distance from the base station The link transmission cost is calculated as the heuristic function of the A* search algorithm, and the multi-hop transmission route between cluster heads with the smallest transmission cost is obtained. Simulation experiments show that compared with LEACH, LEACH-C, and EEUC algorithms, the energy consumption of the cluster heads in this paper is more balanced, thus prolonging the network life cycle.
