Lightning Induced Polarization Effect Model and Polarization Equalization Using Kalman filter

Based on the delay field and Heidler function, we established a lightning-induced PMD+RSOP fiber channel model, We also proposed an extended Kalman filter algorithm to equalize the signal impairments induced by the proposed fiber channel model, under the situations of different DGD and baud rates. The numerical simulation shows that EKF outperforms CMA.
