Energy Saving of Base Station System for Power Private Wireless Network Based on D2D Communication

In order to meet the requirements of clean and low-carbon indicators in the new power system, while introducing clean energy into the base station system of the power communication network, D2D communication technology is introduced to enhance the concept of clean and low carbon by switching off idle and lazy base stations or inefficient base stations as much as possible using base station dormancy technology on the basis of ensuring the communication quality of users. The system model in this paper is a system model constructed by seven fixed base stations and several cellular communication users and D2D communication users based on homogeneous Poisson point process distribution. This paper studies the relationship between user communication energy consumption, total system energy consumption and communication user types, number of communication users, whether base station dormancy technology is enabled, and the energy-saving effect brought by the corresponding energy-saving strategies. The simulation results show that the introduction of D2D communication and base station dormancy strategy in the power private network has different degrees of reduction effect on the energy consumption of the communication network, and the energy consumption optimization rate of the base station network can reach more than 20% in most communication scenarios, while the communication quality of communication users in the region can be guaranteed.
