Low Supply QFGMOS CCCII with Low-pass and High-pass Filter Applications

In this paper, a QFGMOS based current controlled current conveyor (CCCII) is proposed, which decreases the required voltage to ±0.5V and the power consumption. It improves the linearity of the current characteristics, and also reduces the parasitic resistance than basic CCCII. The proposed circuit is also used in low-pass and high-pass filter circuits, whose performance is obtained in PSPICE using TSMC 180 nm CMOS technology. The results obtained for the low-pass filter and high pass filter show an improvement in the bandwidth of 1.579 times and 1.294 times respectively by using QFGMOS in CCCII. Also, the current linearity in the proposed QFGMOS CCCII has enhanced by twice.
