Bibliometric Analysis of Technological and Efficiency Development in Photovoltaic Systems

Renewed tendencies towards the development of technologies for green energy for circular economy and sustainable development of business and society had led to a new increased interest towards renewable energy technologies and more specifically those based on photovoltaics. One of the major points related to renewable energy is system efficiency. Considering this the current paper suggests a base bibliometric analysis of authors and their citation relation throughout the span of several periods, demarked by the fluctuating interest in renewable energy. The analysis is based on the software application VOSviewer, as bibliometric data is extracted from the internationally recognized databases. The paper presents a detailed evaluation and summary of the presented analysis.
