Oxyhydrogen — an Overview of the Technology, Application and Production Factors

The present paper provides and overview of the oxyhydrogen gas as a possible clean source of energy and decarbonization solution. The oxyhydrogen gas characteristics, construction and types of oxyhydrogen electrolyzers, oxyhydrogen production and the gas application in different areas are reviewed. The main factors, which are connected with the electrode geometry and characteristics, electrolyte and power source parameters and influence the production rate and efficiency of the production of oxyhydrogen are analyzed and compared.
