Research of Asymmetric Magnetoelectric Structures on Substrates

The paper is devoted to the study of the magnetoelectric effect in asymmetric magnetoelectric structures on a substrate. The magnetoelectric structure consisted of one layer of piezoelectric PZT with dimensions of
$30\times 10\times 0.5$
mm and one layer of Metglas with a size of one layer of
$30\times 10\times 0.02$
mm was placed on a dielectric substrate. Magnetoelectric elements on the substrate were studied in the frequency range from 0.1 to 54 kHz. The studied asymmetric structures on the substrate can be used in various magnetic field sensors, as well as in energy harvesting devices. High sensitivity and relatively small overall dimensions and weight are the advantages of such structures.
