Modelling of a DC Generator in Matlab Environment During Online Learning

The paper presents an approach for the use of simulation models in the Matlab programming environment in the study of DC generators that constitute part of the curriculum of the Electrical Machines Part I module for students of the degree program of Electrical Power Engineering and Electrical Equipment at the Angel Kanchev University of Ruse. The achievements of the students in this module during the transition from face-to-face to online learning are analyzed and the results of the survey conducted among the students are presented.
