Multidimensional Spatial Filtering to Improve the Accuracy of Antenna Pattern Measurements

A highly informative method for measuring the antenna patterns in the Fresnel region under conditions of multipath reflections, which are the main sources of measurement error, is proposed. The measurement error is reduced by filtering the synthesized antenna spatial impulse response and reconstruction the radiation pattern in the Fraunhofer region. The basic theoretical relationships and experimental results of applying method are given.
