Singularity of the Electromagnetic Field in the Vicinity of the Edge of an Ogival Cylinder for Different Types of Boundary Conditions

In this paper the asymptotic representation of the electromagnetic field near an ogival-shaped edge of the boundary is obtained using the method, first introduced in the works of V.A. Kondratiev. The field is represented as a sum of a singular part and a smooth additive, which is evaluated through norm of a corresponding functional space. The topic of this paper appears from the problem of improving the convergence of numerical methods in complex-shaped domains, which may be hindered by the singularity of electromagnetic field near irregular points of the boundary. Such problems can be encountered when modeling anechoic chambers and waveguides. Singular part of the electromagnetic field is obtained for perfectly conductive, dielectric and impedance cylinders.
