Modelling of Sectionalized Microstrip Antennas with Stripline Feeding Scheme

Known sectionalized microstrip antennas have such disadvantages as the presence of a feeding coaxial cable and the need to choose sizes from a discrete series. To eliminate them it is suggested to use microstrip-based feeding circuitry with concentrated matching elements, as well as shorting probes located at the outer edge of the antenna. Feasibility of these solutions have been demonstrated by the results of numerical simulation in CST Studio Suite environment.
