Misphased Elliptic Horn Feed with a Kink of Generatrix for the Reflector MARC12

The paper considers a misphased horn elliptic antenna with a kink of the generatrix and with a slant aperture. The radiation pattern of the horn with the kink of the generatrix has “shelves” in a certain frequency range. If, instead of circular cones, elliptical cones are used, it is possible to achieve alignment of the shape of the radiation pattern in the E and H planes for the same frequency. This opens up many opportunities for using such antennas as collimator feeds, where it is important to ensure a uniform field distribution in the area corresponding to the projection of the quiet zone on the collimator reflector surface.
