Photovoltaic solar power facilities have the potential to playa significant role in the energy sector. When setting up solar power plants, it is crucial to carefully consider their financial aspects. Solar business models assist in evaluating both the financial and other non-technical aspects of the solar industry. This paper presents a comparative study analyzing the cost-benefit aspects of existing solar business models operating at the secondary distribution level. In order to establish an accurate assumption of profit, all relevant influencing factors in the solar industry must be considered.
