Real and Reactive Power Flow Analysis of a Practical Indian Power Distribution Network

In the present scenario, the day to day increase in the use of electrical energy necessitates the investigation of energy flow in a radial distribution network (RDN). The implementation of Newton Raphson Method to estimate the load flow solutions thereby minimizing the fuel cost of generators in an RDN. This approach has been tested on an IEEE 33-bus system using the Electrical Transient Analyzer Program (ETAP) and the results are discussed.
