Temperature based Hand Sanitizer Dispenser Integrated by IoT for Industry 4.0

A single-stranded, encapsulated positive sense RNA virus called a Coronavirus (COVID-19) has a spherical as well as pleomorphic form with projecting spikes upon the surface that provides crown appearance. Internet of Things (IoT) health surveillance systems minimizes the need for regular doctor visits and patient-physician consultations. Specifically during the COVID-19 epidemic, preserving hand hygiene has served as a crucial protective technique towards preventing infection rates in social places. Effective production management is hampered by the increasing number of sanitizer stations in public places like hospitals and college campuses. The IoT-based hand sanitizer dispenser used in this study includes temperature and level surveillance intends to improve hand hygiene behaviors while also providing Covid-19 preventive measures. The suggested system detects the presence of people, measures human temperature with the MLX90614 non-contact IR temperature sensor, which exhibits vital signs in the LCD display, with a buzzer warning, when the temperature rises above 38° C. Contactless sanitizing uses an infrared sensor to avoid human contact with the sanitizer dispenser, which helps to prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria. In addition, if the sanitizer level is less than 15%, the Ubidots app can be used to display the sanitizer level and temperature of humans.
