Design of Lyapunov Function‐Based Control of Various Power Converters

This chapter presents the Lyapunov function‐based control of various power converters which include single‐phase grid‐connected inverter with LCL filter, single‐phase quasi‐Z‐source grid‐connected inverter with LCL filter, single‐phase uninterruptible power supply inverter, and three‐phase AC‐DC rectifier. The design of Lyapunov‐function‐based control for each converter is presented in detail. The MATLAB/Simulink model of each converter together with the Lyapunov function‐based control is made available to help the practicing engineers, researchers as well as graduate students who are interested in Lyapunov function based control design. The effectiveness of the Lyapunov function‐based control method with output voltage feedback is verified by simulation and experimental results. Simulations were carried out by MATLAB/Simulink. The effectiveness of the Lyapunov function‐based control method has been verified by simulations.
