Alerting of Acid Rain Using Rain Sensor, pH Sensor and SO2 Sensor on Street Lights

When atmospheric precipitation has a pH value below 5.6 it is referred to as acid deposition and it is also known as acid rain. Acid rain has various effects on different living and non-living things. Acid rains causes respiratory diseases such as asthma, pneumonia and permanent lung damage. Acid rain measurement has significant referential value for choosing protective measures. This proposed model uses SO2 sensor, pH sensor and rain detection sensor to detect the pH level of the rain water. The above sensors are placed on the street light of the roads which is also integrated with an alarm system that is used to indicate people about the acid rain.
