Continuous manufacturing is favored because the results of one production run do not have an impact on the outcomes of subsequent runs, unlike batch manufacturing. Whereas in the proposed system, it was a continuous process which doesn’t contain any batches to overcome this challenge cycle time and lag time approach was used.
