Employable Cooling Approach for E-Scooters

Transportation is highly important to meet our daily needs no matter whether it is public or private transport. In India, the recent trend in vehicles that attracts people most is the Electric vehicles. In many countries due to hikes in the prices of fuel, people are throwing their sight toward electric vehicles mainly for their efficiency. The emergence of electric vehicles provides a lot of facilities for people and it also exceeds their expectations. Electric vehicles are employed lithium-ion batteries and electric motors which are replaced instead internal combustion engines. Amongst all the batteries the lithium-ion battery provides high efficiency. Every new product which is being introduced cannot be 100% efficient and successful, it may have some flaws. One such fault which could be observed in electric vehicles is that they flare up due to the overheat of the battery. This problem exists in both electric scooters and cars. Electric cars (e.g. TESLA cars) have a liquid cooling system but an electric scooter does not have one. Apart from other cooling methods, the Air cooling method could be employed on the basis of the Peltier concept. A temperature sensor is used to sense the heat and if the condition exceeds the temperature which is set as overheat temperature then the cooling fan is made to operate, the cooling process takes place also after a certain duration the cooling fan stops running. As a result, the heat of the battery is cooled and the hot air which is removed from the battery is driven out to the environment. This makes the electric scooter function efficiently.
