Electronic fishing float

This paper presents a partially assembled and tested device that receives data from an acceleration sensor and forwards it to another device (namely a mobile phone) when the input acceleration data value exceeds the sensitivity threshold set as a parameter. The device and the phone communicate through Bluetooth. The current paper does not develop fundamental research topics but rather demonstrates the simplicity of designing a freestanding device functioning with no battery and relying on a harvesting circuit for supply voltage.
