Performance Measurements System of Propellers for Electric Propulsion

This paper presents the construction of a laboratory test stand for measuring the static thrust of electric propulsion units. A listing of all components used for the stand is made, and the operation of electronic components and electrical connections necessary for the operation of the stand is described. The possibilities of using the stand are described, and example results from tests of the drive unit are included. The stand allows plotting the electrical characteristics of the drive units. The recorded results provide information on thrust, torque, supply voltage, current, engine speed, speed controller temperature and drive engine temperature.
